We are super excited! The Lord has finally let us reach the 1st phase of the excavation project for Noah’s ark! Phase one will happen very soon and we need immediate support to continue. The Turkish government requires that this survey phase be completed before we do any excavations (currently planned for next spring… more on that in a future update). Our Turkish archaeologist has been issued permits to do the ground-penetrating radar scans using two different antennas. The survey will also include LiDAR scans from the air and a thermography survey of the sites. I say sites (plural) because the permit covers not only the Durupinar ark site but also sites in Arzap (aka “The village of 8”). We have very little time though! Winter is coming and we have only ONE week available to do this important survey. We have a 3-person team from an American survey company already lined up and they have been so awesome in giving us a 50% discount off their usually $16,000/week rate plus throwing in the thermography and LiDAR as extras due to how excited the owners are to be a part of this project! Wow God is good!!
Notice we are also giving away special benefits for each donation level to show our appreciation! We think you will like what we have listed below for each level of donation.
Finally, we are also doing something different for this campaign in that we are letting people find other donors for the project. If you can find enough referrals who list your name and contact information (either a phone number or email address) in the form below and the total donations of all your referrals reach one of the donation levels then you will receive the benefit for that donation level. So, for example, if you find 10 people who give $100 each and thus raise $1000 you will get access to the password-protected expedition website to view live reports, daily updates and special media during the expedition week. If you find 1 person who gives $2000 then you will also be eligible to receive the 3D printed framed model of the Noah’s ark site produced from the high-resolution LiDAR data obtained during this expedition!!
If you wish to mail a check or do a direct deposit you can select “Offline Donation” and instructions will appear on how to do that.
Please prayerfully consider these needs over the next few days and pass the word on.
